@distrowatch@mastodon.social I was kinda pissed that the author didn't run it "out of the box", and immediately began customizing and uninstalling components, which most users cannot do, either from lack of knowledge, or lack of permission. Oh, your whiz bang graphics card isn't supported? Then you're stuck with 1024x768, get used to it, because MS isn't going to tell you how to download and install the driver you need, or even be able to tell you which of the 1,500 different model cards you have. Laptop with optional video installed? Nah, Win 11 will always pick the chipset video, and not even let you know there's an alternative. If you turn off 'features' that most people don't even realize they have a choice about, you are missing the true suckage that is Win 11, Edge, and Office. As to finding the new Settings better than Control Panel, try setting a static IP address. Go on, I dare you.
