Matter as a whole isn’t clumped on one side because universal expansion is still under the influence of the inflationary epoch. It’s just changing your vector that’s cheap/expensive.

There’s The Density on one side of the universe and The Tenuity on the other. Or the Rarity. The Solitudes. We live in the Solitudes. All the elder races long ago got while the getting was good and ended up in The Density.
