@Tutanota@mastodon.social LLMs can't perform as advertised. Even if the training canon had been filled out ethically and consensually, and the cognitive impacts were mitigated, the hardware requirements are still killing humanity. They can't operate without waivers on environmental protection, water rights, power generation... They're literally toxic to humanity just to run them at all regardless of their work product.
