maybe technically a #ThrowbackThursday ? recent visit to the Orpheum in Vancouver, to see the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra perform the score to Lion King live to picture (which was imperfect, and in my opinion better as a result of that, made it human, made it real), evidently the building dates back to the 1920's and the golden era of theaters, has some history with haunting (and as a result of that fame has been used as a set for a number of films & TV shows), the overhead dome I found particularly enjoyable, lots of details #History #Architecture #Art #Buildings #Theatre #Vancouver
