@yonle@fedinet.waltuh.cyou It is on purpose. Mastodon has two accounts settings, discoverable and indexable, or something similar like that. They control whether your posts can be shown in post search. That's why Mastodon users have the tendency to spam hashtags, it's the only way to make posts about a topic show up somewhere outside of home timelines.
