@vermaden@mastodon.bsd.cafe pkgbase is FreeBSDs gift that just keeps on giving.
I’m staying on 14.x for as long as possible, and I’ll re-evaluate the situation when that goes EOL.

@jornane@mastodon.bsd.cafe Yep, its not yet perfect. You can also use 15.x in NON-PKGBASE mode - with distribution sets and freebsd-update(8) the same as with 14.x. The 16.x is the first FreeBSD that will ONLY allow PKGBASE way of things.
