@Tutanota@mastodon.social Yes, for education, research, science and to address needs that are oftem overlook (like gathering information about indigenous languages that are poorly documented and in multiple languages, cancer research, etc). No, for entertaiment: Image/Video/Music generation just to post it on social media. the amount of resources that generating an image take is a total waste. Yes, but there has to be a limit on how much energy/resources those data centers can take.
