@misprintedtype@front-end.social not until lately: since I started degoogling myself on ethical, non technical grounds, I thought I’d be comfortable in mentioning it (in the right context).
Boy, was I wrong: every time I touched the subject I felt like wearing a thick tin foil hat. People were genuinely looking at me like a panda in a zoo. And I promise, I’m not particularly hardcore: I’m not self hosting my email or such. (I mean, I have an home lab, but I hardly talk about that to normies 😬)

@misprintedtype@front-end.social it’s not really relevant to being a parent per se, but the few times that happened, it was in that social circle. The other bit, according to my children, is that I play more videogames than the average dad, I’m more aware of memes and net first cultural references, but I’m also more annoying about screen time, for example
