The scene where the Laestrygonians decimate the crew (3,000 yo spoiler) uses forced perspective to make "giants" (like how they made "hobbits" in #LotR)
2.1 m/ 7 foot men in the background, a 1.4 m/ 4 foot 6 inch woman in the foreground, a small aperture, et voila: giants

followup: i couldn't find the actor's name in the picture above with devyn i couldn't find the names of any of the actors who played the laestrygonians however, i did find another crew picture that shows the difference in height between the 7 foot tall guys and the shorter stunt doubles whose height difference was amplified via the forced perspective practical effect to create "giants"
