@energisch_@troet.cafe I'm not making an argument against the electoral system, I'm quite in favour of not directly electing PMs and for parliamentarianism. Presidentialism is a trash system far too dependant on personality and vibes. But given the last 30 years of German Chancellors who were dogshit for Europe (yes, even Merkel, tho she was by far the least bad) from both the SPD and the CDU (the SPD has a Gazprom lobby wing, ffs!), I'm giving up on Germany.
