He told of some scientific study where male frogs were bathed in estrogen and suddenly they were attracted to males... And somehow it meant that gay was not possible.
I briefly said about the importance of disproving the more general consensus in science... He just diverted to religion (Hinduism in our case... In south india).
He started the usual morality arguments...

But then I countered with REAL rigvedic verses and accounts of Mitra-Varuna, acceptance and allfather-nature of Rudra/Shiva (The lord I revere and look up to)... [Those who know religion the least misuse it the most in excuses.] "You are cherry-picking and misinterpreting as you wish!" I asked him if he has ever read a single line of those texts. "No, but still... Gay is bad and the scriptures can't say otherwise" ...
