@zzt@mas.to The thing I really like about eBikes is that they let you independently control effort and speed. Ages ago, I saw a prototype of a bike with an all-electric drive train, which took this to the extreme. You could pedal hard while slowing down and it would charge the battery, or you could use the accelerator and not put any force on the pedals to go fast without any effort, or anything between.
