My work laptop has a very "fun" defect that has been plaguing me for the last couple of months. Apparently my laptop (Dell XPS 15 9520) becomes very sluggish and comes to a crawl whenever it is charging using a charger that's less than 130W. I initially thought it was my dock, because my USB-C dock that does monitor/keyboard/mouse also does power delivery, but no, as I found out today it also happens when it's connected to my 100W USB-C charger, but not when I'm using the original Dell charger.
