@spycrab@kolektiva.social we plan on getting the newer MC4 standard that is ip67 rated to replace these since we cant garentee a junction box for all the outdoor connections
the side fold out on the vulpibus for example fold out too far for the cables to reach back to a wall and you would need a very low profile junctionbox even if you did mount the junctionbox to the panels
the indoor connections are handled by a junctionbox

@Kuniti_shino@pounced-on.me @spycrab@kolektiva.social Yeah MC4's should correct the problem for sure. They're far more weather tight. You'll probably have to get a cheap crimper off eBay or AliExpress or something to properly terminate your cables, but the end result will be so much better.
