@eldersea@expressional.social my daily driver is MacOS because of work, and I moved my wife over to Mac from Linux so she could use work product, and it's clear that Apple has forgotten how to develop software too.
In fact, as I evaluate Rust widget sets, I'm pretty sure the entire industry has forgotten.

@danlyke@researchbuzz.masto.host I run Linux at home, so far Fedora is still doing OK for daily driving, but I'm a tad concerned that AI code will start introducing more bugs and I'll have to find another distro. My work PC is an absolute nightmare. It's slow as hell, updates are broken, things that worked fine for years suddenly don't, I just don't get it.
