I'm not fond of introducing a new keyword as it can often clash with existing codebases and especially since this one is highly specific. But this was designed by people far more competent that me so let's trust. Furthermore, it opens the possibility of using for lazy initialization in the future, a bit like what Kotlin proposes: https://kotlinlang.org/api/core/kotlin-stdlib/kotlin/lazy.html. #programing #Python #Django
