Relatedly, a friend recently told me off as being a bad man because she mentioned a tech thing, and I immediately said a way that feature could be abused. No, I replied, this is just what good tech people should be doing. There is so much criticism of tech being introduced without thinking about the consequences. Good tech people should be considering the downsides.
