Not only that, there were a bunch of his neighbors telling the police that he was killing people and that his apartment smelled like the literal pile of rotting corpses that it actually was, and the police response was, “You’re black/gay, we don’t care.” Dahmer was a psychotic, tactless, idiot fucking dumbass that genuinely did not seem to be even trying to hide his actions, and the police were still too fucking stupid, lazy, and bigoted to even notice.
