@burnoutqueen@todon.nl My first online encounter with "radfems" was with a group that had an openly declared project of shutting down feminist blogs that allowed men to participate.
At some point I looked at their "headquarters" blog, and they explained their origin as a group of evangelical Christians who wanted an evangelical Christianity centered on women.
(Also they had some transphobic rants, my first direct encounter with that, and an article denouncing the myth of female orgasm.)

@foolishowl@social.coop my first encounter with transphobia was everybody mocking me for not being man enough, and in some cases family members and classmates assaulting me and harassing me over it.

@foolishowl@social.coop @burnoutqueen@todon.nl a friend of mine was invited to a woman’s group in central Florida. This is exactly how she described it except she was in person and quietly left when she realized what was going on.
