@no_brainer@sueden.social is that the "balcony solar" sort of system I've read a bit about? Makes sense to have that low an output if it's connected to the house regular plugs. The battery they've quoted me says maximum 9.8kWh charging/discharging power, so I don't think this would be an issue unless I take up competitive kettle-boiling as a hobby.

@timixretroplays@digipres.club 9.8 kWh sounds good, gives you plenty of room for AC + kettle boiling, parallel to laundry… Yes, your right. That’s called „balcony solar“. A great thing, because it lowered a lot of hurdles and it shrinks the paperwork down to almost nothing. Have you checked the Anker-Solix website? They are offering a great range of products that form a system. In your case a power-dock + 2 AnkerSolix 3 pro or 2 AnkerSolix 4 would perfectly fit your requirements.

@timixretroplays@digipres.club I really like the concept of anker solix. You need an electric expert only for the power-dock. Every thing else you can do yourself with the skills of a 16 year old.

@timixretroplays@digipres.club View more things for your PV. 1) Start now, even with a downsized system. Expand it over time. 2) If possible optimize your panels for the winter season, because during summer you’ll have more than you need. 3) Battery size: start with 3/4 of an average day consumption. This will double the amount of self used Energy. 4) Panels are the cheapest part install enough! 5) It is super easy to upgrade and extend an existing PV System. I’ll post the tools I used do design my PV.
