Clearly, open racism in the New Zealand Parliament is not as serious an offence as, for example, doing a haka. https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/politics/561329/the-house-why-was-the-privileges-committee-so-harsh-on-te-pati-maori-mps Or calling for the government to grow a spine and sanction a genocidal regime. https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/politics/569745/greens-co-leader-chloe-swarbrick-barred-from-parliament-for-rest-of-week-after-gaza-speech Or vigorously shaking papers in frustration at an MP who refused to read matters related to his portfolio. https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/politics/523846/julie-anne-genter-to-be-censured-and-apologise-over-shouting-incident #NZPol #NZIsRacistAF

'Does it even matter?' - you might think. Well, part of my job these days is to contact people who might want to volunteer with the Green Party. Sometimes we contact people who aren't keen, and that's OK. Sometimes though, we get Winston Peters' intended audience. This is from today. New Zealand: You've got a racism problem and the more you ignore it, the worse it will get. #NZPol #NZIsRacistAF
