My average usage is ~ 4 kWh/ day.
I am running a system with 2 kWp and a 2,7 kWh battery. During summer the system is generating > 10 kW per day.
During the night hours I need ~ 40% of the batteries capacity.
The weakness of my system is the limited max power 1.200 Watt, that it feeds to the house grid.
Water boiling, cooking, washing machine have peak loads of 2400 -2500 Watts.

@no_brainer@sueden.social is your system particularly old? The inverter they've included in the quote says it's a 10kW unit, my understanding is that would be the amount of power it can pass through at any given moment so boiling the kettle off the battery shouldn't be an issue.
