@mlupica@c.im This reminds me of my parents running a Chinese restaurant in small city Canada. A cop that eventually became a friend insisted on paying when my parents were in the habit of not charging cops. They, like every other small, minority owned business, were too afraid to charge cops for food. That friend eventually convinced my parents they needed to charge the cops for food. The fear is real and who knows what this guy may have done if they tried to charge.
