One of the very most absurd and offensive things that the trump administration has yet done in its destructive reign is surely its Domestic Policy Council (truly a think-tank of historical scholars...) reviewing the work done by the Smithsonian Institution chronicling history over its nearly 200 years of existence and finding it to be "inaccurate" and in need of disclaimers, warnings, and alterations. Here is a group of people with the collective intellectual wattage of a wet match attempting to protect the country from "inaccurate" telling of America's history.
