The Bible is not well known for humour, but the story in Exodus where Moses climbs Sinai to talk to God, receives a ten-point to-do list where no. 1 is ‘no other Gods’, and comes back down the mountain to instantly find the Israelites with a golden calf idol, that has all the elements of a great gag
