@eleanor@booping.synth.download okay, the thing I was thinking of (kanshi) won't work interestingly enough I found out that KDE has their own protocol to let clients (i.e apps/programs you run) manage output resolutions and whatnot here idk if you're into programming but if you are you could cobble something together probably
