@ErikUden@mastodon.de It seems like a big number! However the number and rarity of books in the world has changed beyond recognition in the time since the great library burned in 48 AD.

@weargoggles@mastodon.social Good point! 100k books was a lot back then, the comparison doesn't work, hence. Still, in absolute terms, we've burned 10 libraries of Alexandria just this year.
