@tapbots@tapbots.social you misunderstand what that means and that article is irrelevant. I do not owe tax in Texas, I owe tax in Washington. That obligation is not resolved by you paying Texas. Post-Wayfair the economic nexus for a transaction is where the purchaser is when purchasing. You are likely exposing your interstate customers to tax liability risk, and paying unnecessary money to the Texas government. (BTW you also seem to violate Texas Tax Code §151.704 in that you do not separately state the tax amount.)
