@starlily@mastodon.social @redsad@ohai.social Because everybody pretends to understand under socialism whatever they want to, and this is very misleading. Somebody implies (post-)soviet states, which is a clear nonsense and sounds very wrong and offensive for us, people living or lived in post-soviet states. Somebody - Scandinavian democracies (despite their economical backbone is clearly capitalistic). Somebody - mystical hypothetical future socialist society, about which everybody talks, but nobody have ever managed to build (well, maybe Scandinavians will eventually manage to - which would be a great irony of history btw).
