The entirety of economic theory used to justify debt is bullshit. It could simply be heavily restricted by law and the economy would keep working just the way it does now, with the vast majority of detrimental rent-seeking suddenly gone. Also the elites don’t want you to know this but for the federal government the defaults at the park are free they can take them home.
