The bottom is accessible only under the house in a crawlspace currently occupied by various protective critters and all of it is encased in what can only be described as an overzealous amount of spray self expanding foam. Meaning assuming I clear whatever mommas live there and shimmy nose to board under there, I then have to shave the foam into my own face to access the pipe. So I think this is strictly a top down operation. If I were a normie, Id rip the whole bath and shower out and redo.
