@MadrePappagallo@nicecrew.digital @PNS@noauthority.social I can't abide waste but you made the right choice. I always check where my food is produced, Apples from Israel? Yeet, Anything from India? Flush it. I wouldn't even put that muck on my compost heap, it's all irredeemably contaminated.

If a food item is cheap, it's because it's most likely from India. Never had this problem with China.
