some thoughts: with the way russia and china and the western governments are starting to creep up on internet freedoms or connectivity at all, maybe it's a good time for me as any to actually learn some tech literacy and build internet infrastructure knowledge. maybe not only internet — for example, radio?

my friend tells me that it's very likely russia will try to completely isolate itself from the outer internet north korea style within the next future through blocking of any IPs that aren't russian. the budget for this kind of feat has to be tremendous, but maybe the desire for fash control will prevail over the desire to pilfer the budget this time. he told me ppl should start building alternative nets now - Yggdrasil n such, before it's too late
