@lachlan@mastodon.social @crispius@mstdn.fname.ca "algorithms" leaves a bad taste in my mouth because that word is so rapped in THOSE systems. Studding the ActivityPub and XMPP protocols and the S2S type stuff is how I've gotten this far. I have a read only api at: https://212.102.59.80:250/api/v1/syncall that lists all site and rss data for anyone to import to their own database server but I'm stuck at how to sync every time something new gets added like the fediverse does. Example: a new server comes online in the fediverse, how does it propagate to others.
