But is Flock already doing it to government officials, along with everyday citizens? Yes. They already are.

@TCatInReality@mastodon.social @amerpie@social.lol I think he could actually. The satalite nonsense puts it out of scope, but the rest is doable. There are already services that leverage peoples' wifi scanners to put every id they scan into a database with location info that others can then access and track ids. There are publicly available versions of this in the form of those apple tags or whatever but these services can track the bluetooth ids of the tire monitors in your car or anything else you carry with you.
