@agreenberg@infosec.exchange A patch?? Seriously?? If folks have a malicious inventory loss prevention device the dealer left inside their cars, they don't need information on how to patch out the currently known backdoor. They need info on physically removing it.

@agreenberg@infosec.exchange This is like as stupid as if someone wrote an article about getting home with anti-theft tags still attached to your clothing, and instead of telling you how to simply remove them, they told you what to do to make sure you don't set off alarms next time you go in the store wearing your new clothes. 🤡
