MODEST MOUSE Good News For People Who Love Bad News 2011 U.S. 2xLP reissue Such a great album that I revisit SEVERAL times a year. I have a LOT of memories, both good AND bad, attached to this record. Major life events were scored by these songs over the course of three years, and even the bad ones are looked upon now with a sense of warmth and a little bit of resolve. I’m not what you would call a diehard Modest Mouse fan. I like a handful of songs scattered over some of their albums, but in all honesty, this is the only record of theirs I’ll ever need or have any real emotional connection to.
