And yet I'm also part of the problem, having some recent open discourse on the topic. 😓 Maybe I should take those conversations to a totally different space, somehow. I think they're important, but I also hate the thought of adding any reminder about how shitty all of it is to anyone's timeline.

@neatnik@social.lol I think it's important for us as users to discuss, especially when it addresses how such content is managed. I just don't want to see interviews with AI CEOs, Sam Altman telling people how awesome it is, or Elon Musk doing whatever the ***k he's doing. It's like some kind of crypto bro capitalistic virus invading what is very much an indie space.

It reminds me that I'm not surrounded by kool-aid drinkers :) I say this as someone who has to use it daily for his job - and actively feels guilty about it. However, seeing the conversation and push against it .. helps oddly enough.
