When you see the greedy, mean pair of men trying to buy the old amusement park and shut it down, both of whom are tall and skinny and wear a beard, then you later meet the two tall, skinny, bearded "ghosts" who are "haunting" the park, it's not a huge mystery. And if you're having trouble solving it, get a midnight snack.
