Having BPD is like if your emotions were gears on a manual transmission car and your brain kept money-shifting between them on a whim.
Have you ever driven manual? Ever shifted gears from 4th to 2nd and the transmission started making *EXPENSIVE SOUNDS*?

@astra_underscore@wetdry.world I caretake for a disabled person with intense BPD and alcoholism, and almost every sentence pivots from happy reminiscing to crying or anger. It's wild. I can't imagine having 1% of that level of emotional instability.
