The company i work for burns the meeting schedule twice a year and frowns upon anything over an hour, and anything daily.
Most of our management are coding on live projects too so it frees them up to suppport the people and teams that need it.
Recommend the slash and butn to your bosses as a free productivity booster and money saver.
Any middle manager reinstating huge meeting blocks is obvious and can be dropped down a stairwell

@DarcMoughty@infosec.exchange It's remarkable we do this too, given we're 7 companies in a lumpy trenchcoat spread across the globe. Try documenting a request to your immediate superior saying how it's a problem, then if they don't fight for you cc their boss in and repeat. I've been told that a sense of justice as strong as I have and a willingness to damage companies that fuck with me may be one of my most endearing autism indicators.
