@david_chisnall@infosec.exchange @0xabad1dea@infosec.exchange That was a bonkers choice in the part of browsers and only forced by very bad safety/performance tradeoffs they made in the interest of being able to run vastly more adtech malware.
Specifically, their insistence on JIT shenanigans and on giving JS references to complex-lifetime objects implemented outside of the JS runtime environment.
