As per gov.uk advice "You can choose not to have a cookie banner if the service only sets essential or ‘strictly necessary’ cookies, as these do not need user consent."

I’m not saying it’s good or desirable, but the reality is that when a brand is competing for market share they have to buy ads from Google, Meta and others. It would be foolish in the extreme to attempt to do that without sending data back to those platforms when a customer / member purchases a service on the site. When your annual budget for digital marketing is 8 figures, it is incumbent to spend it wisely.
