I took a Polaroid of myself lying on the floor to help me get the foreshortening correct. The result was ghastly: it looked like a grimy police morgue photo—with me as the victim! 2/3

@MichaelWhelan@mastodon.art It's always such a fascinating trip to look at art and references side by side, and DIY refs are especially fun. They so often end up being art pieces in and of themselves!
