Splash! North-eastern Iceland in September, and a really beautiful day for whale-watching. We'd been out in the bay on a restored oak fishing trawler for a couple of hours, and were about to turn back when a mixed pod of long-finned pilot whale led by bottlenose dolphins began to race alongside us.
