Like, do you do this with other ethical issues? Do you try to convince people using plastic is better or that some guy isn't a nazi? Why not just fight to get plastic removed from x scenario or like... make that guy stop being a nazi? Why do you think it's on me to change my perspective? Maybe when I was younger and more naive that would have worked on me, but I'm in my 30's now. I know what's right and wrong way more often than I did in my teens and 20's. And I'm absolutely past the point of coddling centrists. That was a terrible idea and I regret my teen years and early twenties for so much time wasted because guess what? None of them ever moved left. They just dragged me down for years.
