Lukewarm take. The bug tracker states for an issue shouldn't be open/closed. In three years, somebody is going to stumble over the closed ticket wondering "it's closed, why is it still happening? Am I on an old version? Does the fix not work?", while actually the situation is "this isn't going to urgent/important enough to be picked up in this or the coming quarter. We just have other things to do. Don't wait for a fix. Sorry"
