@dcz@fosstodon.org I get about 2000km on my MTB (lots of sand & muck) and about 4000km on a road bike. That's just regular chain oil, cleaned properly if mucky, just wiped if not. Your mileage feels a bit on the low value side, could be the chain or the weather or residual grinding muck. A new 9 speed chain is still winning at the cheapest transport option though!
