Xylocopa violacea
-makes nests in dead wood
-not aggressive
-it only will attack if absolutely necessary
-only females have stinger
-loud as fuck (like seriously, a friggin helicopter)

Why are bees so fucking big in the US? Here even the bumblebees are no bigger than 3cm diameter
