The methodology helps with similar things that VPATs help with, and is extensively used in some EU countries, including the Netherlands, where I am.
In fact, we have thousands of websites and apps that we at @Logius@social.overheid.nl / @DigiToegankelijk@social.overheid.nl monitor that use WCAG-EM as the reporting methodology.
